 University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is ranked the topmost University of Rajasthan by NPTEL examination, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for the last 4 consecutive sessions (every 6 months from 2016 to 2020). Institution Innovation Council of UEM Jaipur has been ranked in 3rd position in Rajasthan by MHRD, Govt. of India in 2020 ahead of BITS Pilani and University of Rajasthan. 

Also, UEM Jaipur has been awarded the most prestigious award on Globe, QS Awards in Gold Category overall, and in the Diamond category in “Placement of Students” in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, all students of UEM Jaipur achieved more than one job offer on average.

Prof.Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti, is the chancellor of University of Engineering And Management.

He is the recipient of the IETE Gold Medal for highest contribution to Indian Industrial Electronics. He is a teacher in Engineering & Management and is an alumni of IIT Kharagpur.

VICE – CHANCELLOR – PROF.(DR.) BISWAJOY CHATTERJEE 
UEM JAIPUR

Our Vice – Chancellor Biswajoy Chatterjee of University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur. 

He completed his PhD. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala. Specializing “Nano Science” and “Nano Technology”. He is pursuing research in the same domain in addition to computer vision and speech processing.

He completed B.Tech from Kalyani University and his M.Tech from Jadhavpur University, Kolkata. And then did collaborative research with the National University of Singapore and developed some Robotics platforms for use of Research at the NUS. 

He is an author of 23 SCI, International Journals, Research papers & many other International and National Journals and Conferences. He is a member of confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Computer Society of Indian (CSI) and IEEE. 

He is a known name in the field of applied robotics and conducted several National level Workshops in Robotics. 

REGISTRAR – PROF.(DR.) PRADEEP KUMAR SHARMA UEM JAIPUR

Our Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma of University of Engineering & Management, Jaipur.

He has published more than 14research papers in reputed National & International Journals and is the author of around 12 books on engineering, physics electronic materials and spectroscopy to mention a few scientific research. He has more than 24 years of experience. His research interests are wireless power transfer, security issues in cloud computing and quantum physics. 

He had patent a novel intelligent software based cardio-vascular monitoring system. 

DEAN – PROF. DR. ANIRUDDHA MUKHERJEE UEM JAIPUR 

He is an experienced educator and lighting design expert and Dean at UEM Jaipur and also a published researcher with over 2 decades of expertise in teaching, research, commercial and industrial lighting design & scholarly publications and he is a passionate about fostering academic growth and innovation.  

PRO VICE – CHANCELLOR – PROF.(DR.) SATYAJIT CHAKRABARTI

He is a vice – chancellor of UEM a premier organization in education sector in India, started many entrepreneurial ventures. 

He is also Director of Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. He was a project manager with extensive experience in planning, execution, monitoring, communicating with stake holders, negotiating with vendors and cross – functional teams, motivating members. 

He is a Computer Engineer with extensive research experience while doing Masters in Computer Science. Created ground work for Industry – University alliance with Nokia and UBC. 

MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT 

MBA program is a 2 year full-time program is designed to equip the students with skills necessary to excel in development management. The industry focused in curriculum integrates management competencies to effectively developed perspective, capacity, and skills for achieving sustainable development goals in 21st century with pharma systems management, allowing students to effectively development sectors, civil society organizations, non-profits, corporate social responsibility, businesses, government development programs, and consultancy projects. Students will be expose to a wide range of topics such as development theory, essential of economics, public policies, governance and system management, financial management and other relevant courses. 

We also have scholarship policy. The scholarships based on merit will be awarded to students.  

HOD – PROF.(DR.) PREETI SHARMA MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, UEM JAIPUR

She has strong academic background with sufficient extra-curricular exposure, she has 17 years of experience of teaching, research, administration, training & consultancy. Presently spearheading the efforts to accomplish academic objectives & excellence of UEM Jaipur, as Head, School of Business Management. She is gold medalist in BA Eco(Hons.) from Sophia College, Ajmer, completed her MBA and Ph.D. from Banasthali Vidyapith. Dr Preeti has authored 4 books and 23 research papers on mutual funds, banking, rural and economic development issues in various National & International Seminars and Conferences and attended many workshops at IIM and IIT. She is on the International Editorial advisory boards as a member in International Peer reviewed journals. She is a recognized research supervisor to guide M.Phil. and Ph.D. students in the Department of Business Management. Her current research interests are mutual funds, CRM, Bank Marketing, & Micro Finance, Rural Development, Woman Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Development.

Her achievements are Bharat Vidhya Shiromani Award for outstanding achievement in the field of education, Best Educationists award 2017 and Young Woman Educator and Scholar Award.

SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS/CONFRENCES:

The Management Department of UEM Jaipur organized a seminar at IIT Delhi on the topic – “Changing Need Of The Industry and Consequent Moderation in Syllabi”

The International Conference was conducted by School of Management on the topic – ICCICME (“International Conference on Contemporary Issues And Challenges in Management And Economics”).

The management Department also organizes a Seminar on “HR Conclave” on the topic – “Role of HR in Organizational Transformation”  

School Of Management UEM Jaipur organized 1 day MDP in association with Hotel LEE Grand Jaipur which was attended by more than 100 Industrialists / Top Management / HR & Admin heads from various companies.

School of Management also conducted 5 days hands on-workshop on 

Excel & SPSS where students get a great exposure under the guidance of the Management Department of UEM Jaipur.

PALCEMENTS OF MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT:

Placement legacy of 30 years – all students of all pass out batches of UEM Jaipur got 1 to 2 job offers on average.
